How do you tell if someone in PUBG is cheating or just really good?
Open threadEvery time you get wiped, someone in chat types "hacker". Sometimes true, mostly not. How do you actually tell? Share what you look for and what you think is just a good player with good game sense.

Good players pre aim common corners and know where the circle pushes. That looks spooky but it is just experience. One kill proves nothing.
Patterns matter more than moments. Someone who always finds your position from far away through cover, across several fights, is more suspicious than one lucky read.

maybe he just heard your footsteps. headphones exist lol
Use the in game report option if you are sure and move on. Overthinking one match is how people tilt.
And remember, getting reported is not the same as getting banned. Reviews take time, that is part of why there is so much talk about ban waves.
